Mr. Stuart B. Williams is a Managing Director & Country Head at Amova Asset Management New Zealand Ltd. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the Amova Asset Management New Zealand business.
Mr. Williams joined the firm in 2014 as Head of New Zealand Equities.
He was named Managing Director and Country Head, as well as Co-Head of New Zealand Equities in April 2023, and has held his current roles since October 2023.
Mr. Williams has been in investment management since 1997 and has extensive experience in virtually all aspects of investment management.
Most recently this entailed conducting detailed research and developing investment recommendations on listed companies in both New Zealand and Australia.
He previously worked at ANZ Investments and its predecessors.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Accountant.
