Ms. Stephanie Ettmeier is a Research Associate at The German Institute for Economic Research.
She joined the DIW Berlin and the DIW Berlin Graduate from Center in October 2018.
Her research focuses on monetary and fiscal policy and applied (Bayesian) macro econometrics.
Before joining the DIW Berlin, Stephanie held a position as a research associate at the Chair of Monetary Economics at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
During her studies, she was working as a research assistant in the department of macroeconomics at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH).
After completing her bachelor's studies in Anthropology (University Leipzig) and Political Science (Sciences Po Grenoble), Stephanie discovered her interest in Economics.
She holds a B.Sc.
and M.Sc.
in Economics from the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg.
For her dissertation on monetary policy shocks, she was awarded the faculty’s prize for the best master’s thesis.
