Stefaan Vandevelde is member of the Advisory Board of Trilantic Europe’s Portfolio Company Prettl SWH GmbH and serves as an Independent Director at French automotive part manufacturer Delfingen.
He has over 35 years of experience in the Automotive, IT and engineering sectors, with a strong focus on management and production processes.
He worked for 20 years at Siemens where he held a number of managerial positions and was President of the World Automotive Relays division from 1996 to 1999.
He subsequently served as vice president EMEA of Tyco Electronics, where he built a strong network within the Automotive OEM division and supported the M&A activity.
Mr. Vandevelde joined Delphi in 2002 and, at the time of his departure in 2013, had reached the position of President of Delphi Electrical / Electronics Architecture activity.
He is fluent in German, Dutch, English and French and holds an Electronic Engineering degree from CIVE, Belgium.
