Mr. Silvio Zgraggen is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Active Alpha AG.
Previously he was a Portfolio Manager at Horizon21.
He has extensive experience in equity trading.
After finishing his banking apprenticeship in 1981 he started his career as Junior Floor Trader for Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) in Zurich, Switzerland, at the Swiss Stock Exchange.
In 1987 he was appointed Senior Floor Trader, focusing on US equity arbitrage.
During different internships over the years he gathered trading experiences in Paris, France; London, Great Britain; New York and Chicago, United States.
Since 1988 he was Head of the US Equity Proprietary team at UBS Investment Bank, in Zurich, Switzerland.
Mr. Zgraggen holds a degree from the KV Zurich Business School, Zurich, Switzerland.
