Dr. Roman von Ah is a Founding Partner & Managing Partner at Swiss Rock Asset Management AG.
He is on the Board of Directors at Azek AG and Swissinvest Real Estate Investment.
He sits on the Executive Committee of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA) and is Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals (AZEK), where he has lectured on the subject of derivative financial instruments, bonds, and wealth management for over ten years.
He began his career with UBS as a portfolio manager for global institutional clients.
This was followed by a period with IST as a portfolio manager and pension fund advisor.
He sat on the Group Executive Board of Swissca Group and held the position of CEO at Swissca Portfolio Management AG with responsibility for over CHF 50 billion of assets under management.
Before joining Swiss Rock, he sat on the Executive Board of Julius Bär Group, Switzerland’s biggest private bank, where he was responsible for the Asset Management division, with global responsibility for CHF 120 billion of assets under management.
Dr. von Ah studied economics at the University of Freiburg, where he also took a doctorate while pursuing his career.
