Dr. Vishny is a founding partner of LSV Asset Management and has contributed to the firm's success in multiple functions including research, operations, new business development and client service.
Dr. Vishny previously led the National Bureau of Economic Research's Program in Corporate Finance.
He also served on the Board of Directors of the American Finance Association and the Center for Research in Security Prices and as Associate Editor for both the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Finance.
Dr. Vishny received an A.B. with highest distinction in Economics, Mathematics, and Philosophy from the University of Michigan in 1981 and a Ph.D.
in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1985.
