Robert Leroy Showen is the founder.
He founded SoundThinking, Inc. in 1996 and currently holds the title of Chief Scientist.
He previously worked as a Senior Research Engineer at SRI International.
Additionally, he held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Puerto Rico from 1973 to 1975.
Dr. Showen obtained his graduate and doctorate degrees from Rice University and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
