Previously, Dr. Mikelskas was Vice President of Center for Integrated Intelligence Systems (CIIS) in the Department of Defense Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence Federally Funded Research and Development Center for MITRE from 2001to 2007.
Prior to joining MITRE, he worked at General Electric Information Services Co. He was an Adjunct Faculty Member of Computer Science for the G.W.
Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and a Member of the NIMA Forum and a Member of Defense Science Board Summer Study Panel on the future of war in 2007.
Dr. Mikelskas received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Fairfield University and a PhD in Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State University.
