Mr. Groos is a founding shareholder of the Trust Co. He has extensive trust and investment management experience, the last twenty-three years of which were with Texas Commerce Bank N.A. and predecessors.
Mr. Groos graduated from the University of Texas in 1963 with a B.B.A. in Finance.
He has been active in various community and civic organizations in San Antonio, having served on the board of Via Metropolitan Transit Authority and in various capacities with United Way of San Antonio.
