He has nearly 30 years of experience as an active investor, advisor and director to public and

Rich founded Angler Capital Partners in 2004 to focus on investing in smaller, growing
companies.
Before starting Angler, he was a General Partner of Sandler Capital Management, a New York based alternative investment rm.
Rich has
extensive experience in sourcing, structuring, executing and managing private equity and venture capital investments across a broad array of
industries.
Before entering the private equity business, he was a Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Merrill Lynch & Co and
began his professional career as a corporate attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell, in New York.He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a graduate degree from Columbia Law School, an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MBA from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York.
