Mr. Philip E.
Carse is an Analyst at Progressive Equity Research Ltd. He was previously employed as Head of Telecommunications Research by IS Research Ltd., and a Research Analyst by Equity Development Ltd. Since 2003, Mr. Carse has run his own consulting firm, Teleq Consulting.
At IS Research, he is responsible for developing and leading the telecoms practice providing equity research services to smaller listed telecoms companies.
He has over 20 years experience in telecoms having worked as an Equity Analyst several companies including with UBS, Commerzbank, Citigroup and 7 years as a Management Consultant with PA Consulting Group and NERA. As an Analyst, he covered a wide variety of European operators, including mobile, incumbents, cable and altnets, and was responsible for global telecoms research in his last year at Citigro.
The UBS team was ranked 1st in UK telecoms, whilst the Citigroup team was regularly in the Top 5.
Mr. Carse has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Economics from The University of Southampton and Birkbeck College, University of London, respectively.
