Pete Scott is the Chief Credit Officer (CCO) at SVB Capital, responsible for leading the Debt Platform’s investing and business operations.
Pete joined Silicon Valley Bank in 1996.
During his tenure, he held several senior leadership positions.
Prior to SVB Capital, Pete was the credit risk manager for SVB’s Life Science and Mezzanine Finance practices, where he oversaw the management of the global healthcare and life science portfolio and co-managed the National Healthcare and Life Science and Healthcare Practice.
Additionally, Pete was a senior loan officer, holding various positions including head of Life Science and Healthcare Practice as well as senior vice president and manager of the Northern California Life Science and Healthcare Practice team, Communications and Electronics team and Semiconductor team.
Before SVB, Pete spent six years as a senior lender in the Commercial Lending division of Wells Fargo Bank.
Pete graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and Wells Fargo Bank’s Credit Training Management Program.
