Obinna Onunkwo is the founder of Purple Real Estate Income Plc, established in 2014, where he holds the position of Director & Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
He is also the founder of Purplemoney.
Currently, he holds positions as a Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, a Member of the Institute of Directors, the Managing Partner of Purple Capital Partners Ltd., and the Chief Promoter of Microfinance Development Co. Ltd. In the past, he worked as a Non-Executive Director at Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc from 2013 to 2020, as well as held positions as Managing Director at Alternative Capital Partners Ltd., Head-Asset Management at Spring Capital Markets Ltd., and Head-Asset Management at Kedari Capital Ltd. Mr. Onunkwo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Port-Harcourt in 2001 and his MBA from Lagos Business School in 2010.
