Mr. Nigel C.
Sillis, CFA, is Director of Research & Fixed Income Investment Manager at Baring Asset Management Ltd. Mr. Sillis leads and coordinates the full research effort on fixed income, currency and credit and is responsible for providing the research activity output to the investment managers.
He is also a member of the Global Portfolio Construction Group.
Mr. Sillis joined Barings in 2000 and, prior to being appointed to his current position, undertook various roles in the Fixed Income team including Head of Credit Research.
He previously worked at NatWest Bank where he spent seven years working in Credit Appraisal, Financial Analysis and Credit Rating Analysis within the Corporate Finance division.
Mr. Sillis is a graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (First Class Hons in Financial Services).
He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and was awarded the CFA designation in 2002.
