Dr. Jose Ignacio Andrés de la Fuente is a Head of Portfolio Implementation & Trading at Quantica Capital AG.
Before joining Quantica Capital, José Ignacio held a Senior portfolio manager role within the Investment Solutions team at UBS Asset Management, based in Zurich.
His focus was on quantitative analysis, research, and management of complete return multi-asset portfolios.
As part of the Investment Committee, he contributed to asset allocation research and analysis, focusing on cross-asset and derivatives supporting asset allocation strategy setting.
Before this, he was a space scientist working in co-operation with ESA and NASA in the Netherlands.
He holds a Ph.D.
in Space Physics from the Delft University of Technology, an M.Sc.
and B.Eng.
in Aerospace Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a BA in Arts in Music from the Katarina Gurska Advance School of Music.
He is a CFA and CAIA charter holder.
