Mr. Mozamil Afzal is a Group Chief Investment Officer at EFG International AG and a Global Chief Investment Officer, Head & Chief Executive Officer at EFG Asset Management (UK) Ltd. He has also been the Chairman of the EFGAM Investment Committee since 2010, and a member of the Global Business Committee of EFG International since 2024.
In addition to his Chief Investment Officer responsibility, Mr. Afzal is the Chief Executive Officer of EFG Asset Management and is responsible for EFG’s investment process globally.
He has managed fixed income, multi-asset, and global equity strategies, and he continues to manage key portfolios.
Prior to joining EFG, Mr. Afzal worked in the Macro-Economic Policy Division at HM Treasury in the UK.
He has a BSc (Hons) Mathematics degree and an MBA from Aston University in the UK.
