Mr. Mohamed Abu Basha is a Managing Director & Head of Macroeconomic Analysis at EFG-Hermes Securities Brokerage.
He is our lead economist covering the MENA region with over 10 years of experience in macro-related equity sell-side research.
He covers more than 14 economies in Asia, Africa and the MENA region.
He also contributes regularly to our strategy-related research.
Prior to joining EFG Hermes,he worked as an Economic Researcher at the Ministry of International Cooperation in Egypt since 2006, where he focused on impact evaluation studies on projects financed by foreign donors.
He holds a BA from the American University in Cairo, double majoring in Economics and Political Science.
