Ms. Lassiter joined Ascend in September 2005.
Prior to Ascend, she was an Investment Manager with Parish Capital Advisors, LLC, a fund-of-funds focused on investments in emerging managers in the private equity and venture capital sectors.
In that capacity, she led due diligence on potential fund investments and worked with general partners to analyze and execute direct co-investments.
Ms. Lassiter graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a Morehead Scholar.
She received a BA in Economics with Honors and a BA in International Studies and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
