Prior to joining Boston Common, Ms. Locke held clerkships with the California Coastal Commission and the Ocean Conservancy both located in San Francisco, California.
Most recently, she worked on concerns surrounding the placement of liquid natural gas (LNG) facilities in coastal Maine while serving as a clinician at the Vermont Environmental & Natural Resources Law Clinic.
Ms. Locke attended the University Of Michigan School Of Natural Resources & the Environment where she received her degree in the Program in the Environment with a concentration in environmental science as well as business.
After her undergraduate work, she earned her Juris Doctor at Vermont Law School with a focus on environmental law, particularly marine and coastal issues.
