Prior to joining Pacific Life in 1993, Mr. Holmlund was director of Institutional Sales at Daiwa Securities America in Coronado, California for two years.
He was also vice president of Institutional Sales at Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles from 1985 to 1991.
Mr. Holmlund received a B.A. in Economics from Willamette University in 1983 (Maga Cum Laude) and an M.B.A. in Finance from University of California, Los Angeles' Anderson School of Management in 1985.
