Profil
Mr. Kristian Webster, CFA, is a Head of Technology, Communications, Media & Portfolio Manager at Magellan Asset Management Ltd. He is responsible for covering stocks across both the Global Equities and Global Infrastructure strategies, and in August 2016 was appointed to the additional role of Portfolio Manager.
In 2013, he moved to the US to open Magellan’s New York investment office and returned to Magellan’s Sydney office in 2017.
He is a member of Magellan’s Investment Committee.
Prior to Magellan, Mr. Webster spent five years with Capital Partners (now CP2) as a Senior Investment Analyst with a focus on the Transport and Infrastructure sectors, as well as general coverage.
He also spent four years as an academic at the University of New South Wales’ School of Banking and Finance.
He is a CFA charter holder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the University of New South Wales.
