Dr. Foster is an accomplished economist with specializations in finance, securities, and econometrics.
He holds tenure at the City College of New York, part of the CUNY system.
In addition to his role with Red Acre which he joined in 2006, Dr. Foster is the Associate Director of the CCNY Rosenburg Humphrey public policy program where, among other things, he led the effort to migrate outreach and communications efforts online, initiated an annual newsletter program to maintain relations with alumni and donors, and directed the programs fund raising efforts in coordination with the College's Alumni Fund.
Dr. Foster holds the Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bard college, the Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in economics from Yale University.
He has been recognized with numerous awards and honors for both his academic work and his administrative service to the college.
