Ms. Kathy Sweeney is a Principal at Great Point Investors LLC.
She developed Great Point’s senior housing investment strategy.
Ms. Sweeney has been an active senior housing equity investor since 1997, during which time she has been involved in the development, repositioning and stabilization of acquisitions on behalf of large institutional investors.
She spent over three years embedded in the office of New England’s largest senior living operator, Benchmark Assisted Living, giving her first-hand knowledge of the operating intricacies of the senior living business.
Since 1979, Ms. Sweeney’s commercial real estate experience has included acquisitions, asset management and dispositions of all property types across the U.S.
she serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.
She is Past Chairwoman of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care Industries.
She currently serves on the Executive Board of the American Seniors Housing Association, and is a member of New England Women in Real Estate and the Pension Real Estate Association.
Ms. Sweeney holds a BA degree from Boston University and has earned a certificate in Strategic Decisions and Risk Management from Stanford University.
