Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Malangoni was the Controller and Chief Compliance Officer of Steadfast Financial, an investment management firm.
While at Steadfast, he was responsible for financial and accounting functions of the firm’s equity hedge funds and management companies, including external investor relations, internal and external performance reporting, budgeting and regulatory and financial reporting.
He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City, where he was a Senior Associate in the Alternative Investment Management group of its audit and assurance practice.
Mr. Malangoni received a BS in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University.
