Mr. Jonathan I.
Grundman, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer at Adaptive Financial Consulting LLC.
He is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the firm’s investment architecture, including proprietary analytics tools, portfolio monitoring technology, and trading platform.
He conducts extensive quantitative and fundamental investment research, and he is responsible for trading client accounts.
Prior to joining Adaptive, Mr. Grundman was the lead portfolio manager at Ibis Capital, where he led an effort to redesign the firm’s investment process, and to construct a new suite of models to access public equity and fixed income markets, liquid alternative assets, structured notes, and alternative investments.
He also developed a variety of tools to trade, monitor, and research the firm’s model portfolios.
Before joining Ibis Capital full-time, he gained experience in financial engineering through the Gelber Group, where he worked alongside the software engineering team to build core applications used to trade and monitor derivatives positions.
Mr. Grundman earned Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley and holds a CFA designation.
