Mr. John W.
Ventre is Head of Multi-Asset at Old Mutual Global Investors (UK) Ltd.
He joined Skandia 2008, prior to the completion of the merger of Skandia businesses within the Old Mutual Group in September 2012.
Mr. Ventre has more than 11 years of industry experience.
He previously worked as an Exchange-traded Derivatives Broker with ADM Investor Services International, trading commodities and equity volatility, and latterly as a Partner in a start-up private client investment management and brokerage firm on the Isle of Man.
He was previously associated with Alternative Investment Strategies Limited, the first closed-ended fund of hedge funds listed in London, as well as teaching the derivatives module on the Isle of Man for Liverpool Business School.
Mr. Ventre holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Law from Peterhouse, Cambridge and a Master of Arts degree (Cantab).
He also holds the Investment Management Certificate, as well as Futures and Options Representative qualifications.
