Mr. John E.
Parks is Director of Research at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. He is also a Managing Director of the firm.
He oversees Oppenheimer's overall research strategy and product.
He first joined the firm in 1989 as a senior institutional salesman covering the New York City territory.
In 1995, he became Head of Domestic Institutional Sales, and two years later became Head of Global Institutional Sales.
In 1999, he was named Head of Equity Research, a position he continues to hold today.
Mr. Parks began his Wall Street career at the First Boston Corporation as an investment banker and later as an institutional salesman.
He was previously employed as Director of Research by CIBC World Markets Corp.
He holds a B.A. in economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University.
