Mr. Joel T.
Underwood is a Senior Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at Ledyard National Bank.
He joined Ledyard in 2005 initially in the capacity of portfolio manager, equity analyst and investment strategist.
He became Ledyard's Chief Investment Strategist in 2007 and served in this capacity for twelve years.
During this period, he was responsible for the overall investment function including strategic and tactical asset allocation and security selection.
He works with clients to help them meet their financial objectives and continues to provide insight to the investment team.
He has over 40 years' experience in the investment management industry.
Prior to joining Ledyard, he managed portfolios with E.F.
Hutton and Fraser Management in Burlington, Vermont, Fleet Investment Advisors and Bank of America, where he was responsible for both private bank investment portfolios and institutional endowments.
He holds a B.A.
in Economics from Middlebury College.
He is a member of the CFA institute and the CFA Society Boston.
