Joana Chua

Joana is the Chief of Staff at Gradient Ventures.
She helps with the operational management of Gradient and its relationships with portfolio companies.
Joana has over 15 years of experience supporting leaders in financial and high-tech firms, including Blum Capital, JP Morgan, and Bank of the West.
Throughout her career, she helped develop company processes, orchestrated cross-functional projects, and served as the main point of contact across executive teams.
Her most recent tenure, she worked directly for the late Richard Blum, where she spearheaded a variety of projects and initiatives, including the management of high-profile events.
Joana grew up in the Philippines where she got her Bachelor of Science Degree in Centro Escolar University.
Joana lives in the east bay, enjoys cooking, hosting dinners, trying out new restaurants, and doing Peloton workouts.
