Dr. Williams retired as Captain from the US Public Health Service with over 20 years of service in human-use product development which included assignments with the FDA, the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research as Director Scientist of the Division of Vaccine and Related Product Applications, the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and the National Institutes of Health, the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as Chief, Intracellular Pathogens branch and at the US Naval Medical Research Institute as a Research Microbiologist.
He received a BS degree in Animal Science, an MS degree in Genetics and a PhD in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University.
