Prior to joining Lucas Capital on December of 2007, Ms. Queen-Miles has worked in various roles as a production, operations and reservoir engineer for Marathon Oil Company, Burlington Resources, XTO Energy, and ConocoPhillips.
Work for these companies included the management and optimization of multiple fields located in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming and San Juan Basin of Colorado and New Mexico.
Managed activities and accomplishments included overseeing significant drilling and workover projects and completing several reservoir and field optimization studies leading to significant reserve additions.
She was also responsible for annual SEC reserve estimations and economic evaluations.
For several years Ms. Queen-Miles worked as a reservoir engineering consultant for Netherland, Sewell and Associates, Inc. in Dallas.
She completed detailed third party evaluations of oil and gas reserves, property evaluations, analysis of secondary recovery projects and field studies and economic evaluations for conventional and unconventional reservoirs located both domestically and internationally.
Ms. Queen-Miles received her Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1995 from Montana Tech of the University of Montana and is registered as a professional engineer in the states of New Mexico and Texas.
