Jason Di Piazza is Head of Capital Formation at Blockchain Capital, leading the firm’s capital raising and client engagement, as well as new investment strategy and development.
With nearly two decades of experience working with and advising leading institutional investors, Jason brings a diverse and wide-ranging perspective on the needs of sophisticated investors globally.
Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Jason ran business development for Farallon Capital Management across the East Coast & Latin America.
In this capacity, he represented one of the world’s most celebrated investment management firms to all channels of institutional investors.
Prior to joining Farallon in 2019, he spent 15 years at BlackRock where he was most recently Managing Director and Co-Head of BlackRock’s West Coast Family Office, Foundation & Endowment team.
In this function, he oversaw all commercial outcomes and team development across the entire Western Region.
Jason began his career in asset management at Barclays Global Investors, where he partnered with many of the Firm’s largest, most complex institutional clients.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Santa Clara University and attended the London School of Economics & Political Science, where he completed a Masters of Science in Global History.
