Janet Daly directs the company's financial activities and is the corporate Treasurer.
Since joining Dolby in 1991, she has been charged with building a financial infrastructure and paving the way for the company's significant growth.
During her tenure at the company, Janet expanded the company's Human Resources department through the establishment of robust recruitment, training, and employee orientation programs.
She also managed the design and construction of Dolby's Brannan Street (San Francisco) office building to support the growth of an employee base that has nearly quadrupled since she joined the company.
Prior to joining Dolby, Janet held various positions in financial management, including chief financial officer for a retail software developer and controller of a major US movie theatre exhibitor.
A California Certified Public Accountant since 1980, she is also active in the Financial Executives International organization.
Janet is also on the board of trustees for the Sunny Hills Children's Garden Family and Children's Services Agency.
