Mr. Ian A. Fridlington is a Partner at CopperTree Capital Management LLP.

He has over 25 years experience in providing investment management solutions to global wealth management businesses and, in addition, has over 10 years experience in the successful application of alternative strategies.
He has also held a number of investment and client-facing roles within retail and international banking groups.
Prior to CopperTree, he was the Private Client Director for Veritas Asset Management (UK) Ltd. from 2007 to 2010 where he designed and ran a specialist fund of alternative strategies and was a member of the Investment Strategy Committee.
From 2002 to 2007, he was the Head of Investment Strategy for Ansbacher & Co Limited.
In this role, he was instrumental in creating and running the global investment management platform for the entire group.
He was also responsible for asset allocation, equity and hedge fund selection.
Focusing on absolute returns, the team were highly successful at the Private Asset Management (PAM) awards winning two categories in 2005 and 2007.
In 2001, he was invited to join Lehman Brothers International (Europe) to lead their expansion into the Indian sub-continent, following a successful career as a Senior Manager for Grindlays Private Banking from 1995 to 2001.
During his stint at Grindlays, he managed investment and banking relationships throughout the region, and held client-facing roles for the firm.
Mr. Fridlington has the Investment Management Certificate.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and he holds the Financial Planning Certificate.
