Mr. Henk Grobler, CFA, is a Fund Manager at Fairtree Capital (Pty) Ltd. He began his career as metallurgist at Okorusu Fluorspar Mine and Namdeb Diamond Corporation.
In 1999 he moved to the manufacturing industry where he was involved in production engineering and process development at Foskor Fertilizer and Saldanha Steel respectively.
He started his fund management career in 2003 at DWT Securities as director and dealer in hedge funds, before establishing Badger Capital in 2008.
He joined Fairtree in 2013 as manager of the Fairtree Acacia Fund (previously known as the Badger Quant Fund), which he has managed since its inception in 2003.
