Guillaume Mercier has held the position of Senior Vice President, Advisory Services and Business Strategy since June 2023.
He also leads our Client Diversity and Product Innovation teams.
He is focused on evolving our business practices and ways of working to drive positive client satisfaction and impact for Canadian entrepreneurs.
Guillaume is also Partner in BDC’s Industrial Innovation Venture Fund and is a board member at Veerum and Axya.
He also remains heavily involved in the start-up community as an investor and mentor.
Guillaume previously held the role of Senior Vice President, Head of Impact and Strategic Priorities, at BDC.
And prior to joining the Bank, he held executive positions at Vention, SSENSE, and Cirque du Soleil.
He was also a videogame producer on the NBA 2K franchise at Take-Two Interactive, and started his career at Proctor?&?Gamble in Marketing.
Guillaume holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Laval University.
