Fadi Kanso

Dr. Fadi Kanso is a Deputy Secretary General & Head of Research at Arab Federation of Capital Markets.
He provide research infrastructure and therefore reinforcing AFCM’s commitment to nurture the regional markets with permanent in-depth and reliable research and analysis covering the Middle East and North Africa region at large, and therefore to support both AFCM internal strategic planning processes and its role as a major contributor to the flow of information.
He deals with regional, global financial markets and key macroeconomic issues, with an in-depth knowledge of MENA economies, and contributes to the preparation of economic and financial periodicals illustrating the global financial markets’ developments and the regional equity markets highlights.
Prior joining the firm, he was the team leader of the Macroeconomic research unit at Bank Audi’s group research department.
He holds Ph.D.
in Economics from the University of Paul Cézanne - France.
