Mr. David Novak is a Managing Director & Equity Research Analyst at Raymond James Ltd. He joined the firm in 2018 and covers Healthcare & Biotechnology companies.
Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Novak held similar roles at a number of Canadian boutiques, a leading independently owned Canadian investment back where he was a top-ranked StarMine stock picker.
Prior to his tenure as a Research Analyst, he spent a number of years both in industry at a TSX-listed biotechnology company developing molecular diagnostic tests for oncology indications as well as a clinical research scientist researching the hereditary predisposition to cancer in addition to investigating multiple experimental therapeutic avenues to treat such cancers.
His former industry and clinical research experience are core to the fundamental analytical approach he takes with the company’s under his coverage.
Mr. Novak holds a Masters of Science (Medical Genetics) from McGill University and has published in a number of high impact journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine.
