Dr. Daniel Meuthen is a partner in AUCTUS and possesses more than ten years experience in the investment business.
He studied economics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität zu Münster and holds a PhD in "Strategic Corporate Management".
At the beginning of his career, Dr. Meuthen worked as an investment banking analyst for the Westdeutsche Landesbank in Düsseldorf.
In 1997 he switched to the investment division of the bank and worked with an emphasis on medium-sized and larger scale industry participations.
In 1999 he changed to 3i, a leading international venture capital and private equity company, where he focussed on the areas of funding growth and ownership successions for medium-sized companies.
Further positions in his career have led him to Buenos Aires and London.
Dr. Meuthen implemented numerous transactions especially in the retail, consumer goods, health and industrial services sectors.
He accompanied many portfolio companies over several years until their exit from the portfolio.
