Claudia Baron is a partner and head of fund investments at PPM America Capital Partners, the private equity arm of PPM America, Inc. (PPM).
In this role, she manages the private equity team's primary and secondary investment portfolio.
She is also responsible for sourcing and underwriting co-investments and primary fund investment opportunities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008 (having previously worked for PPM from 1993 to 1999), Claudia held operational roles, including chief executive officer/general manager of a winery in northern California and chief financial officer of a technology company.
She earned a master’s degree in finance and management information systems from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Michigan.
