Mr. Palmer has many years of market research, consulting, and valuation experience relative to complex assets located throughout the U.S.
and Canada.
He has also served as primary advisor for corporate facilities leasing, portfolio acquisitions, and asset divestitures as well as performed feasibility, redevelopment, adaptive re-use, site selection, and tenant space utilization studies.
In addition, Mr. Palmer has an extensive background in the financial analysis and valuation of closely held stocks, securities, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual assets.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Mr. Palmer was founding Principal of Corporate Realty Advisors, National Manager of Realty Advisory Services for GE Capital (BAF), Senior Vice President - Manager of Valuation Technology at Bank Of America, Senior Vice President - Manager of Real Estate Advisory and Appraisal Services with Seafirst Bank, and Senior Vice President - Managing Director at Landauer Associates, Inc.
Mr. Palmer completed the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management program conducted at Dartmouth College, received his MBA (Real Estate and Finance emphasis) and BS (Psychology) degrees from Brigham Young University, and holds the CRE (The Counselors of Real Estate), FRICS (Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), and MAI (The Appraisal Institute) designations.
Mr. Palmer also serves as Vice Chair of the Washington Real Estate Appraiser Commission and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Washington Center for Real Estate Research, Industry Advisory Council (The Appraisal Foundation), and National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF).
In addition, he serves on the Real Estate Advisory Board and CBE National Board of Advisors for Washington State University.
