Burns is a Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Bank of America, NA.
In this role, he is responsible for creating and implementing personalized investment strategies across a broad range of asset classes based upon a client’s risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and overall investment goals.
In developing strong relationships with clients, he guides them through establishing prudent investment goals and objectives, all while maintaining an appropriate investment strategy through shifting market environments.
In addition, he also interacts with clients through periodic personalized reviews to monitor progress towards achieving investment goals and provides traditional guidance in the areas of asset allocation, risk mitigation, income maximization, and tax-minimization.
He works closely with clients’ external advisors, such as attorneys and accountants as well as the broader private bank team to access a wide range of resources, capabilities and specialists.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, he was a Portfolio Manager with City National Rochdale, an RBC/City National Company.
Previously, he held similar positions with Lyons Wealth Management, LLC, and ARIM.
He obtained his MBA with concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship and his Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Economics from Rollins College.
