Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) was founded in 1955 to represent companies who manufacture kitchen, bath or residential cabinets as well as the key suppliers to that industry. With membership of several hundred throughout the United States, KCMA engages in setting industry standards, sponsoring research and providing management tools and educational programs. KCMA certifies products with an Environmental Stewardship Program seal which ensures that the materials and processes used in creation of the product are sustainable and eco-friendly. KCMA also sponsors product testing and certification which is intended to ensure that cabinetry receiving its seal meets certain product quality standards.
