Ms. Obermiller started her career as an Editor and Managing Editor, working for Iowa State University Press from 1982 to 1983 and educational publisher Perfection Form Company, from 1983 to 1992.
Ms. Obermiller holds a B.A. in English from Grinnell College, and a M.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
