Mr. Benjamin Brodie is a Chief Technology Officer & Investment Analytics at GenTrust LLC.
He oversees the development and deployment of firm's proprietary investment technology infrastructure.
In his time at the firm, he has focused on synthesizing the firm’s various risk models and data resources into a scalable, secure global network to match the needs of firm’s employees, clients and third-party partnerships.
In 2018, he oversees the launch of firm's Investment Technology affiliate, AIRIA, whose goal is to provide that secure network of proprietary technology to other RIAs that share firm's vision and mandate.
As a member of the investment team, he is engaged in ongoing research efforts, as well as in developing and continuously improving analytic frameworks.
He has overseen the creation and development of proprietary risk-based benchmark determination and tracking, tax efficiency and AI trade generation systems, as well as the development of trade execution algorithms and various quantitative strategies.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and English, where he did research on creative applications of AI, ranging from improvisational algorithms to technical theoretical analysis of music and performativity real-time synthesis.
