Mr. Kabarowski is the Head of Risk within Proterra Investment Partners and oversees the process and duties related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
Prior to Proterra, Mr. Kabarowski worked for Black River, a division of Cargill, where he served as a Managing Director leading the firm’s Investment Risk Group.
Prior to joining Black River, Mr. Kabarowski worked for CarVal Investors as the Finance Director for North American Real Estate, helping launch their first funds before taking on a newly created position as Managing Director for Fund Operations responsible for fund and investor accounting and operations.
Previously, Mr. Kabarowski worked for Cargill in a variety of roles, including leading the development of the credit risk management function for Cargill Risk Management and Cargill Energy, serving as Controller of Cargill’s Oilseeds and Malt business in Germany, and serving as Country Controller in Poland, where he helped lead the acquisition, greenfield and growth strategy for the Animal Nutrition business unit.
Mr. Kabarowski holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in European Business Administration from Middlesex Polytechnic (Middlesex Business School) in England and a Diplom Betriebswirt from the Fachhochschule in Reutlingen, Germany.
He speaks English, German and Polish.
