Alexander Mihai Popovici co-founded 3DGeo Development, Inc. in 1994 and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer.
He has been a Member of the SEG Research Committee since 1995.
Previously, Dr. Popovici was a Staff Engineer of Magnetic Recording and Software Development for Guzik Technical Enterprises, Inc. from 1987 to 1988 and a Consultant until 1993.
He received a BS degree in Geophysical and Geological Engineering from the University of Bucharest in 1985 and an MSc degree in Geophysics in 1991 as well as a PhD in 1995 from Stanford University.
