Mr. Alex G.
Markus is Co-Founder & Partner at Stone River Capital Partners LLC.
He shares overall management responsibility for SRCP and is responsible for deal generation, overseeing due diligence, deal structuring and negotiation.
In addition, he is active with SRCP portfolio companies, assisting them with business strategy, acquisitions/divestitures and financings.
Prior to co-founding Stone River Capital in 2009, Mr. Markus was an investment banker and advised on and completed over 80 merger and acquisition transactions for clients ranging from industrial concerns such as ThyssenKrupp to the State of Michigan.
His career started with the investment banking firm of W.
Y.
Campbell and Company, a subsidiary of Comerica, Inc. After W.
Y.
Campbell, Mr. Markus established a boutique investment bank, Markus Capital, LLC.
He has had extensive experience in industries including automotive, construction, financial services, heavy-duty truck, medical/pharmaceutical products, information technology and distribution.
Mr. Markus graduated from Wayne State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
