IOI Corporation Berhad est une société holding d'investissement. La société, par l'intermédiaire de ses filiales, exerce ses activités dans la culture du palmier à huile, la transformation de l'huile de palme et la gestion de participations. Les secteurs d'activité de la société comprennent les plantations et la fabrication à base de ressources naturelles. Le segment Plantations est dédié à la culture du palmier à huile et à la transformation de l’huile de palme, avec des activités de sélection des semences, de culture et d’extraction d’huile végétale. Il compte environ 98 plantations, 15 usines d’huile de palme, quatre centres de recherche et développement (R&D) et un centre de biotechnologie en Malaisie et en Indonésie. Le segment de la fabrication à base de ressources est dédié à la fabrication de produits oléochimiques, d’huiles et de graisses spécialisées, au raffinage de l’huile de palme, au broyage des amandes de palme et à la transformation des troncs de palmiers à huile. Il comprend des activités en aval, telles que le raffinage de l’huile de palme brute et de l’huile de palmiste, ainsi que la transformation de l’huile de palme raffinée et de l’huile de palmiste en produits oléochimiques et en ingrédients alimentaires spécialisés, sans oublier la transformation des troncs de palmiers à huile.
