Mr. Yoshiaki Iizuka is Head of Japanese Research at Rogers Investment Advisors KK.
Prior to joining Rogers Investment Advisors, Mr. Iizuka was Chief Investment Officer at Traders Investment Management from 2004-2008 running Japanese equity long/short portfolio and long-only portfolio.
His investment career began with 14 years in asset management at Bankers Trust Company in Japan, starting in 1982.
As Chief Investment Officer from 1989-1992 he managed Japanese equity portfolios for global public and private pension fund clients.
From 1992-1996 he was President of Bankers Trust Investment Management, Japan.
He was also a member of Bankers Trust's Global Asset Allocation Committee from 1985-1996.
In 1996, Mr. Iizuka moved to American Express Asset Management International to manage Japanese equity portfolios for AmEx Global Mutual Funds and US institutional clients.
He served as CEO of American Express Financial Advisors Japan from 2000-2002.
Mr. Iizuka received a BA in Economics from Rikkyo University in 1979 and an MBA from Claremont Graduate University in 1982.
